Hello All and Happy New Year

Well, First of all, I want to thank everyone who responded to our previous emails about a meeting place.

With our last email, I had listed the pros and cons of the area restuarants that had been suggested and offered what I thought was our best choice, that being the Tilton Diner.

I spoke to Heather at the Tilton Diner and she was gracious enough to be willing to host our monthly meetings in an area that gave us somewhat privacy to hold our business meeting. My only concern with the Tilton Diner was the noise level of the rest of the restuarant. Being able to talk during the meeting without having to shout...

One member ( thank you Ron H ) suggested the Family Tree Restuarant 927 Laconia Road, Tilton NH 524-1988 and I replied to Ron that I didn't think that we could meet there becuase of the layout of the restuarant, not giving us a area to meet privately.

There is a area of the restuarant that has high top tables, but there wasn't enough tables and chairs for everyone.

I know the owner Eileen personally, and today I stopped in and explained what I was looking for, and she mentioned the area with the high Top tables, and I explained that I didn't feel the tables would work and she said that they have standard buffet tables and chairs that they set up for special occasions. She said that her last event was for 30 people. YES ... We have a place , at least for the month of January.

OK, so about the Restaurant, The menu is extensive for breakfast, and the prices are reasonable. Everything is made fresh and made to order.

I have told Eileen that we would meet next Sunday January 10th starting at 8:30.

I hope for a good turnout for our first meeting of 2010.
