For the members of Chapter G, I understand that our Chapter Director, Sue Venne has had her second hip replacement surgery and that she is doing fine resting at home. This has been a long ordeal for Sue having both hips surgically replaced in the past 4 months and I am sure that she is anxious to get on the back of Jim's bike and go for a ride. It will probably be next year before she attempts that,but in the mean time, drop her a note,checking on her recovery and hopefully, she will be up and about in no time.

Ride for Kids August 16, 2009
The ride begins and ends at Wal-Mart in N. Oxford, MA
Registration from 8AM to 9:45. Police escorted ride begins promptly at 10 AM.
Dunkin Donuts will be there with complementary coffee and donuts.
After a nice ride there will be a light lunch and soft drinks provided while we enjoy a “ celebration of life”.
The Comfort Inn in Auburn, MA (508-832-8300) has donated half price rooms for Ride for Kids participants if you wish to take a leisurely ride down on Saturday. I have a nice route if you are interested. If you want to leave on Sunday, Jim Venne will leave the Dunkin donuts on Rt. 106 in Louden at 7 AM.
Your $35.00 basic registration includes the above plus a ride pin. Very nice premiums (hats, shirts, and carry on bag) are available for additional donations depending on amount.
Venco Wings has been the 1st place dealer for the last few years. This is significant tribute to Jim and Sue. Help us keep them in that spot!
